GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has released their most recent poll for both men's and women's basketball. Both the Malone University men's and women's basketball teams have moved up since the last poll was rolled out on December 9.
Â
The men's team moved up to number six in the NCCAA with their 10-4 overall record. Grace College is atop the poll with a perfect 15-0 record. Despite recent losses, the Pioneers have had a great start to the season and look to turn things around early in 2026. Malone has the second-best scoring defense in the NCCAA at 62.6 points surrendered per game. The team holds opponents to the lowest field goal percentage in the association as well at 38.5%.
Â
On the women's side, the Pioneers move up from third to second and trail only Campbellsville University and their 15-1 mark. Malone sits at 11-3 currently, with all three of those defeats coming since the last iteration of the national poll. The Pioneers are top five in the NCCAA in field goal percentage (42.4%) and three-point field goal percentage (33.0%) to lead the charge offensively.
Â
The two will be at home on Saturday, January 10 for a doubleheader against the University of Findlay. The women's game begins at 1:00 P.M. with the men's contest to follow.
