NCCAA Basketball Polls Remain Steady

01/20/26

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA have released the third iteration of the coaches poll for men's and women's basketball. The Malone University men's and women's basketball teams both find themselves inside the national rankings.

The women's team remained second overall with a 13-4 record. The top six teams in the poll remained the same after a two-week examination period. Campbellsville University retained the top spot in the rankings. On the men's side, the 11-6 Pioneers dropped one position to seventh. Grace College and their undefeated 19-0 record are number one.

Malone women's basketball is looking to regain some momentum following their 58-41 victory at home versus Thomas More University. The Pioneers moved up to the number four spot in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) standings with a 6-3 mark in league play.

The men's team will look to rebound after a loss to Thomas More 68-62, however the program picked up a big victory against Kentucky Wesleyan College earlier in the week, 80-75. The Pioneers are 8-1 at home ahead of a big contest against #23 Walsh University (National Association of Basketball Coaches poll) on Saturday, January 24.

The next matchup for both teams comes at Ohio Dominican University on Thursday, January 22. Tip-off will be at 5:30 P.M. for the women and 7:30 P.M. for the men.
