WILMINGTON, Ohio - The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) have announced their postseason awards stemming from the 2025 men's and women's soccer seasons. The Malone University men's soccer team saw
Anthony Birus honored as a member of the Academic All-Ohio Team for NCAA Division II.
Â
Birus is a senior forward from Ontario, Canada who is majoring in business management at Malone. This past season, Birus led the squad with three goals scored and seven points. He had a multi-goal match in a 2-2 draw versus Walsh University and had the game-winning goal in a 2-1 triumph over Ashland University. That score came in the 89th minute to stun the Eagles on their home field.
Â
He becomes the first student-athlete in the men's soccer program to be named to the OCSA Academic All-Ohio Team since 2018 when
