GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has unveiled its first stat report of the 2025 cross country season. The Malone University women's cross country team is atop the rankings after their first event at the Mike Baumer Cross Country Invitational.

The Pioneers finished sixth at the 5k event with a team time of 1:36:15 from their top five runners. That puts them in first place over Grace College by nearly two minutes.

Individually, there are five Malone student-athletes inside the top nine on the stat report. Senior
Kristin Yeager leads the way with a mark of 18:32.2. Senior
Jenna Cassidy (18:56.5) is third, senior
Rebekah Stoneman (19:18.5) is fourth, junior
Rachel Whetstone (19:41.2) is seventh and freshman
Olivia Szmania (19:46.7) is ninth.

The second event of the season for Malone cross country is the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic at Cedarville University. That race takes place on Friday, September 19.
