ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Jackson Phelps of the Malone University baseball team was recognized by the NCCAA as a Second Team All-Midwest Region selection for his efforts in the 2025 season.
 
The junior pitcher from Medina, Ohio helped lead the Pioneers to a record of 17-30 and had a mark of 6-3 in his 11 starts on the year. Phelps tossed the most innings for Malone in 2025 at 57.1 frames.
 
Over the course of the year, Phelps held a 4.55 ERA and 1.53 WHIP. He struck out 44 batters and held opponents to a .244 batting average against. In his start against Cedarville University, Phelps fanned a season-high eight Yellow Jackets in seven innings of work where he allowed just one run.
