GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has released the Academic All-District honorees from the at-large portion of the selection process. 22 different sports across NCAA Divisions fall under the All-District criteria, including men's and women's golf as well as men's and women's lacrosse.
A total of six members from those four programs received CSC Academic All-District for the 2024-25 school year. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or higher and at least a sophomore academically. On top of academic achievements, the CSC also has athletic nomination criteria for participation and success in a given sport.
The Malone University men's lacrosse team saw
Zac Smargiasso and
Talon Heath represent the program. Both student-athletes were listed as All-Conference members in the 2025 season.
Cam English was an honoree from the Malone University women's lacrosse team. English was the team leader in goals with 48 and points with 70 and helped lead the program to their first postseason appearance.
Maria Warner and
Erin Strouse were representatives from the Malone University women's golf team. Warner was the individual runner-up at the NCCAA Women's Golf Championship and Strouse led the Pioneers at the team's conference championship event, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Golf Championship.
Zehnder Gibson received CSC Academic All-District distinction in his efforts to the team's eighth-place finish at the G-MAC Men's Golf Championship.
