Brooklyn Troyer for their efforts in the blue and red.
The loss drops Malone to 21-7 overall and they finish 15-5 inside the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). The Chargers jump them in the league standings at 19-8 overall and 16-4 in league play.
Hillsdale opened the game with a 20-10 first quarter. The Chargers were 7-of-13 from the field and held the Pioneers to 25.0% (4-of-16). The second quarter was the opposite as Malone got back to even at 26-26 through 20 minutes.

Kylee Bruce had five key points in the half.
The Pioneers took their first lead of the contest in the third quarter and a layup by

Kaufman broke the scoring drought with an and-one to knot the game back up at 45. Veteran experience by Horn and Troyer from downtown kept the Pioneers engaged, but neither team was able to get many stops in a high scoring fourth period. The Pioneers will host Kentucky Wesleyan College in the G-MAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 4. Tip-off inside Osborne Hall will be at 5:30 P.M.
