CANTON, Ohio – Sophomore Seth McMillen of the Malone University swimming & diving team has been announced as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week after an impressive showing at Malone Invitational this past weekend. It is his second career G-MAC Athlete of the Week award.
 
In individual events, McMillen competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, and the 200-yard breaststroke. The Uniontown, Ohio native had solid outings in each event: with a 24th-place finish in freestyle and 7th in both breaststroke events. McMillen had times of 22.45 seconds in the 50 freestyle, 1:00.63 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:15.46 in the 200 breaststroke. He also competed in the men's 400-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay, leading his team to 9th- and 11th-place finishes, respectively.
 
The home invitational concluded the fall season for the swim team as McMillen and the rest of the Pioneers will be back in action January 17 for the Gannon Double Duel.
