Cedarville, Ohio -- The Malone University Track & Field competed at the NCCAA National Championship over the weekend. The Men finished 3rd with 88 points, the Women 6th with 53 points.Â
The meet was hosted by Cedarville University.Â

RESULTS:
60m Dash: The Pioneers were led by
Macey Hicks (8.16, 14th place) on the women's side.
Sophomore
Phil Stupka led the men with a time of 7.11 (12th place).Â
200m Dash:
Deja Curry-Brown (27.05) and
Macey Hicks (27.06) took 8th and 9th for the Pioneers.Â
Phil Stupka ran a 22.60 to take 2nd place on the men's side
400m Dash:
Trevon Houston grabbed 7th place with a 52.34 final time.Â
800m Run:
Tyler Twining took home 1st place with a time of 1:56.70,
Eric Dehmer followed with a 1:57.08, good for 3rd.Â
Rylee Yocum finished 2nd for the women with a time of 2:19.91.
Kaelyn Jones also scored with an 8th place finish and a time of 2:30.30.
1 Mile Run:Â On the Women's side,
Kristin Yeager ended with a time of 5:14.73, good for 4th place.
Jenna Cassidy followed quickly behind with a time of 5:21.10 and a 7th place finish.Â
Gabe Shilling finished 2nd with a time of 4:17.98.Â
3000m Run:
Kendall Anenson finished 3rd after a final time of 10:41.58.
Kylee Gray (10:59.08) and
Trinitie Woolace (11:13.71) placed 6th and 7th.Â
5000m Run:
Chase Balko (15:38.33) and
Zach Bugner (15:39.20) snagged 2nd and 3rd as the Pioneers continued to dominate the distance races.Â
Xander Heil finished 7th with a time of 15:55.23.
4x200m Relay: The Lady Pioneers brought home 5th place as
Deja Curry-Brown,
Macey Hicks,
Amber Morris, and
Abigail Blaz ran a time of 1:49.06
4x400m Relay:Â
The Men finished 4th as
Tyler Twining,
Trevon Houston,
Alex Swinehart, and
Eric Dehmer ran a time of 3:32.32.
The Women finished 5th after
Gabriella Gudger,
Rylee Yocum,
Amber Morris, and
Rebekah Stoneman ran a 4:22.16.
4x800m Relay:Â
Joe Joe Rolko,
Nathan Gerhart,
Luke Dininger, and
Noah Blaz took the Pioneer men to a 3rd place finish with a time of 8:19.61.
Marisa Brown,
Rachel Whetstone,
Carolyn Miller, and
Kaelyn Jones finished 2nd with a time of 10:38.89.
Distance Medley:
Tyler Twining,
Jacob Cureton,
Gabe Shilling, and
Eric Dehmer ran the Distance Medley for the pioneers. Their time of 10:31.36 was good for 2nd place.Â
The Lady Pioneers also took 2nd as
Kristin Yeager,
Rebekah Stoneman,
Rylee Yocum, and
Kendall Anenson combined for a time of 13:03.83
Weight Throw:
Gavin Tribelo snagged 6th place after a toss of 14.20m.Â
Taylor Walls took 8th with an effort of 14.25m.
Long Jump:Â
Collin McClure led the Men's side with a 4th place finish after a 6.64m  effort.Â
Triple Jump:
Me'zel Square-Ward finished 7th with a final distance of 12.81m and
Collin McClure followed at 9th with a best jump of 12.61m.Â
Heptathlon:
Donovan O'Neil took 3rd with a score of 4244, while
Alex Swinehart took 5th with a score of 3881.Â
UP NEXT:
The Pioneers compete next Friday and Saturday (February 16th and 17th) at the Mount Union Tune-Up (Alliance, OH) and the Al Campbell Open (Akron,OH). This is the Pioneers final meet before the G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th in Ashland, OH.
