INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After a 4-0 start to the 2024-25 season, Erin Kaufman of the Malone University women's basketball team has been selected as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week.
 
The junior student-athlete from Glandorf, Ohio helped lead the Pioneers to victories against Slippery Rock University 80-65 and a home win versus Lake Superior State University by a score of 62-54.
 
Kaufman notched a double-double in the road win over Slippery Rock with 22 points and 12 rebounds. She would add five assists as well in that game. From the field, Kaufman was 11-of-15 overall.
 
In the team's home opener against LSSU, Kaufman was tied for the team lead with 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She had three of the team's 14 steals.
 
The Pioneers continue non-conference action at Fairmont State University on Wednesday, November 20 beginning at 5:30 P.M.
