Findlay, OH -- The Malone Volleyball team traveled to Findlay for its first G-MAC match of the season.
The Pioneers competed at a high level but were unable to grab a set against the Oilers.

HIGHLIGHTS
Set One
Findlay came out red hot taking a commanding 7-1 early lead.
Malone was able to claw themselves out of the whole and at one point only trailed 15-12.
The Pioneers thought they had the momentum on their side, but that's when the Oilers went on a big run and eventually ran away with the set.
Set Two
Malone came out with a different mind set taking an early 3-2 lead after a kill from
Brianne Salinas and a service ace from Hannah Miller!
However, Findlay went on a run once again and was able to take set two.
Set Three
The Pioneers continued to battle after falling behind early.
Unfortunately, Findlay had an answer all night. In the the end the Oilers were just too much for the Pioneers.
DETAILS
Gabby Rodriguez led the Pioneers with six total kills.
Jaymes Gilbert finished with five.
Mallory Meinen led the Pioneers with seven assists.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone Travels to Ursuline College this upcoming Tuesday. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
