THE GAME
Hillsdale had the first points of the game after both team came up empty for the first minute and half. The Chargers quickly gained a 10-0 lead before Alexis Hutchison started Malone's scoring with a three-pointer.

Towards the end of the opening quarter, Hutchison brought the Pioneers the closest they would get with a layup, but the Chargers scored five more points before the first ten minutes were up.

The second quarter saw Hillsdale maintain a double-digit lead, but Nataley Armstrong closed out the first half with a layup to send the teams to the locker room with the home team down 13.

Emma Kallas capitalized on a defensive rebound to score the first points after resuming play with a layup.

Hillsdale and Malone traded baskets for a bit in the middle of the third quarter. Malone's offensive effort was highlighted with three-pointers from Brianna Fitzgerald and Brinn Hunt.

The Chargers had their largest lead of the night with their three-pointer as the opening score of the fourth quarter at the 8:05 mark. Malone responded with a shot within the paint from Kallas and a three-pointer from Armstrong.

Armstrong and Brooklyn Troyer closed out the game with back to back shots from the paint, but it was not enough as Hillsdale came out on top with the win and snapping the Pioneers five-game win streak.
