Box Score Greensburg, PA-- The Malone University women's basketball team (1-2, 0-0 G-MAC) fell to Seton Hill University (2-2, 0-0 PSAC) by a final score of 71-60 Saturday afternoon.
From the Jump, both teams started out hot. Both Malone and Seton Hill were trading baskets. It seemed like neither team would be stopped but, that's when the Griffins went on a 6-1 run to end the quarter.
In the second quarter, the Pioneers really struggled to shoot the ball as Seton Hill held them to just 17% shooting from the field. It was a comfortable 47-31 first half lead for the Griffins.
Coming out of halftime, Malone continued to struggle shooting the ball. It seemed like there was a lid on the basket, but that's when things changed.
The Pioneers shot the ball much better in the fourth at almost 54% and they outscored Seton Hill 20-15. Unfortunately, the Griffin lead was too big to overcome and the Pioneers fell 71-60
