Box Score CANTON, Ohio. — The Malone University volleyball team (3-14, 1-7 G-MAC) was defeated by Tiffin University (10-7, 5-4 G-MAC) three sets to none on Friday evening, October 6 in Osborne Hall.

The Dragons won the first two sets by scores of 25-20 before winning the third set 25-14. The Pioneers fought hard and kept the first two sets close but Tiffin's overwhelming attack made sure both sets were won by the Dragons. In the third set, the visitors got a comfortable lead early on and did not look back.

Inside the Box Score

Gabby Rodriguez and Grace Rosko led the Pioneers with seven kills apiece. Rodriguez also had six digs on the night.

Mallory Meinen had 11 assists and seven digs.

Macy McCauley led the team with 13 digs on the evening.

Annika Nichols and Brianne Salinas each added five kills.

What's Next

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, October 7 as they host the University of Findlay at 12:00 p.m. as part of Malone's Homecoming weekend.
