Canton, Ohio -- The Malone University Cross Country Team's concluded their 2023 season at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship. The event took place on the campus of Malone as the Pioneers welcomed the rest of the conference.

Kendall Anenson (23rd), as well as
Rylee Yocum (26th), the ladies placed sixth as a team in a field of fourteen schools with a 173 score.
Kristin Yeager (45th),
Trinitie Woolace (49th), and
Kylee Gray (52nd) rounded out the scoring for the Pioneers.
On the Men's side, with their palms sweaty, knees weak, and arms heavy, the Pioneers dug out a respectable fifth place finish out of the thirteen team field with a 121 score. The men were led by Second-Team All-Conference Recipients
Max Gucker (13th) and
Hayden Schmidt (16th).
Gabe Shilling (25th),
Xander Heil (30th), and
Tyson Denison (39th) concluded the Men's scoring.
Both teams now begin training for the upcoming 2023 Indoor Track & Field Season.
