CEDARVILLE, Oh. -- The Pioneers competed against the best collegiate runners in the entire state in the All-Ohio Championship at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course on the campus of Cedarville University.

In the women's 5k event, Malone placed seventh of 33 teams with a team score of 257 points. Finishing above Wright State University and Cleveland State University, both division one programs.

The men's squad also finished seventh out of 30 teams with a team score of 200 in the 8k race. 

Cedarville University picked up the overall win on the women's side and Walsh University placed first in the men's race.
