Columbus, Ohio -- Some members of the Malone University men's track & field team competed at the Jesse Owens Track Classic in Columbus, Ohio today and on Friday. 

Highlights
In the 1500-meter run, Christopher Cannon clocked a career best time of 3:58.14. 

Tellis Horne finished seventh with a time of 10.61 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

Chase Balko finished the 5000-meter run in 15:07.84.

Kabanu Witherspoon ran a personal best time of 22.32 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

What's Next?
The Malone University track & field team will travel to two different meets next week. A portion of the team will travel up to Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio for the Ashland Alumni Invitational on Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30. The rest of the team will head up to Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio for the Walsh Tune-Up on Thursday, April 28.
