Great Midwest Athletic Conference Release
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- On Monday the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the Softball Pitcher of the Week.
Malone University junior
Jensen Miller earned the award after her performances in a trio of Pioneer games last week.
On Monday Miller carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning in the team's 2-1 win over Lourdes University.
Friday, Miller was the winning pitcher in Malone's 2-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) win over Trevecca Nazarene University.
She also turned in a complete game in the 2-1 loss at Kentucky Wesleyan College on Saturday.
Miller's final line for the week was: 20.2 innings pitched, just three earned runs allowed, and seven strikeouts. She posted a 2-1 record and 1.02 ERA on the week.
