LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The cross country team competed against many division one programs in the Live In Lou Classic at the University of Louisville.

In the men's 8k event, the Pioneers placed 29th of 31 teams with a team score of 797 points. Finishing above Radford University and Southeast Missouri State University, both division one programs.

The women also finished 40th out of 41 teams with a team score of 1052 in the 5k race. They finished above Indiana State University, a division one team.

Grand Valley State picked up the overall win on the men's side and Furman University placed first in the women's race.
