MEN'S SOCCER SERIES HISTORY:
Malone men's soccer has a favorable 5-1-1 record against Kentucky Wesleyan all-time. In their 2019 matchup, the Pioneers won 4-0 in Owensboro with Nathan McFeaters netting a hat trick in the game. The lone win for the Panthers was all the way back in 2016.

MALONE PIONEERS TEAM NOTES:
Schedule | Roster | Statistics

This is a big match for Malone when it comes to the playoff picture. The Pioneers have to get out of the basement and score some points in conference if they want to stay in the postseason hunt with the shortened 2020-21 season.

In the team's last game at Walsh, Antoine Leheron broke through the score both his first career goal and the first goal of the season for Malone. Leheron has taken a team-high eight shots this season.

Patrick Brightbill took three shots for the Pioneers against Walsh and has four shots on the season. Nathan McFeaters (3), Patrick Alvarez (3) and Colton Fry (2) are the other leading shot takers for Malone thus far.

Ryan Dean, Carter Hartong and Justin Betts each played 90 minutes against Walsh, including the first 90-minute performance of the season for Hartong.

KENTUCKY WESLEYAN PANTHERS TEAM NOTES:
Schedule | Roster | Statistics

Kentucky Wesleyan was selected to finish 10th in the preseason coaches' poll, but are outplaying expectations so far this season. The Panthers are 1-0-1 with a season-opening win over Trevecca Nazarene University and a 2-2 draw on Thursday with the University of Findlay.

This will be the first game played away from Owensboro for Kentucky Wesleyan. In 2019, the Panthers were 2-6-0 in road matches.

Julian Gonzalez has scored a goal in each of the two games this season and all three of his shots on the year have been on goal. The second goal in the Findlay game came from Jake Peveler.

Lucas Daunhauer has played all 200 minutes in goal for Kentucky Wesleyan and has made 16 saves, the most saves per match in the G-MAC.
