CANTON, Ohio -- Tonight the Malone University volleyball team will play one of their final home matches of the season. The Pioneers will honor their senior class prior to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference match against Kentucky Wesleyan College.

MALONE-KENTUCKY WESLEYAN SERIES
Tonight is the only scheduled match between these two programs this season. They last met back in the 2019 regular season when the Panthers scored a four-set victory in a match played in Owensboro.
Overall it will be the fourth meeting all-time on the volleyball court between the Pioneers and Panthers. Malone holds a 2-1 lead in the series.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Due to current local health regulations, a limited number of spectators will be permitted to attend each game played inside Osborne Hall. Right now, this access is limited to families of Malone University players and coaches. There is also a ticket allotment given to the visiting team. These tickets will continue to be pre-sale only, and must be redeemed ahead of time through our online ticketing partner Eventbrite.
There are still no walk-up transactions permitted at the gate.
Malone University will adhere to school, local and state guidelines as it pertains to the COVID-19 pandemic. If patrons are feeling ill, we ask that you remain home.
All patrons are asked to wear a mask and social distance inside the gym. We also ask that patrons exit the building immediately following the contest.

Brooklyn Sullivan is a middle hitter for the Pioneers from Wheelersburg, Ohio. She has played in 80 matches over her four-year career, appearing in 267 total sets. Sullivan has totaled 280 kills and 151 blocks as member of Malone's volleyball team.

Abbie Swaino is a setter for the Pioneers from Canal Fulton, Ohio. She has played in 74 matches over her four-year career, appearing in 233 total sets.Swaino has assisted on 1,007 points during her career, placing her ninth on Malone's all-time list. Defensively she has totaled 437 digs.

Elizabeth Selleny is a setter from Concord, Ohio. She has played in 68 matches over her four-year career, appearing in 206 total sets. Selleny has assisted on 937 points during her career, placing her tenth on Malone's all-time list. Defensively she has recorded 441 digs.

Savannah Line is a defensive specialist from Westerville, Ohio. She has played in 16 matches over her four-year career, appearing in 20 total sets. Line has totaled 22 digs in her career, including a career-high four digs in a match against Ohio Dominican earlier this season.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT
Kentucky Wesleyan comes into tonight's match off of a 3-0 loss at home to Cedarville. The Panthers lone win of the season came on February 5, a five-set victory on the road at Ohio Valley.
The Panthers are led offensively by freshman Lilly Trump. She has scored a team-high 48 points on 42 kills, five service aces and two block assists.
WHAT'S NEXT
Malone will close out their scheduled home matches next week by hosting Trevecca Nazarene University. The Trojans will travel to Osborne Hall for a 7:00 p.m. match on Monday night.
