CANTON, Ohio -- On Friday, October 29, the Malone University volleyball team is hosting No. 18 Hillsdale College for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) match. First serve from Osborne Hall is set for 7:00 p.m.

The Pioneers are encouraging all spectators to wear pink in honor of breast cancer awareness. Tickets to the match can be purchased ahead of time online.

As the most common cancer diagnosed in women, breast cancer will affect an estimated 281,550 women in the United States this year, with more than 43,000 dying from the disease. It is very important to have a yearly mammogram starting at age 40. Before age 40, it is wise to be aware of your breasts so you can report any changes to your physician. Early detection is the key to a good outcome!
