The Malone University women's basketball team improved to 15-6 on the season and 9-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) with a home victory over Ohio Valley University Thursday night in Osborne Hall. Just three weeks after a narrow overtime win at OVU (3-16, 1-12 G-MAC) on the road, the Pioneers had little trouble in dispatching the Fighting Scots 75-45 in front of their home crowd.

Ellen Doyle knocked three three-pointers in the first seven minutes,
Robin Campbell added a pair of baskets and
Emma Kallas grabbed five rebounds and scored on the last possession of the first quarter to help the Pioneers lead 18-7 after one.
Malone continued to gradually build upon its double-digit lead in the second quarter and owned a commanding 41-17 advantage at halftime. Campbell and Kallas combined on 15 points in the session.

The Pioneers went to their bench early and often in the second half with the game well out of reach.
Madison Hunter converted back-to-back buckets, including a wide open corner three as the Malone stretched its lead to 57-30 by the end of the third quarter.
Eight different Pioneers tallied points in the final frame, including freshman
Bri Lucas, who collected her first points of 2020 and registered her first career block. Malone reached its largest lead of the game, 33 points with just under two minutes left, before finishing off the 30-point victory.

- Malone's 30-point winning margin was its second-largest of the season (MU topped Waynesburg 95-63).
- The Pioneers finished an even 50% (32-of-64) from the field while OVU was just 18-of-55 (32.7%) overall.
- The Pioneers also outrebounded the Scots 45-28 and managed a 50-20 edge in points in the paint.

- Robin Campbell notched a team-high 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting. She also handed out four assists.
- G-MAC leading three-point shooter Holly Groff was held without a triple for the first time in 19 games, but ended the night with 12 points and a steal.
- Emma Kallas and Madison Hunter each recorded their first collegiate double-doubles, posting identical statlines with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kallas added a pair of steals.
- Ellen Doyle totaled 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

- Nahia Urturi-Ortiz produced a team-high eight points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block.
