Results
The Malone University men's and women's cross country teams ran in the G-MAC Preview event at Tiffin University, the "Tiffleberg XC Invitational," on Friday evening. The women's team competed first and brought home a third place finish. The men secured fourth place as a team.

The women's event was dominated by the Hillsdale College Chargers, who had eight of the top 10 finishers. This includes the individual champion, Maryssa Depies. The top individual scorer for the Malone Pioneers was sophomore
Sabrina McClain, who placed 12th with a time of 23:14.7.

Following her in 15th was
Meghan Boggess, who ran a 6K time of 23:31.8, an improvement of two and a half minutes of her Hillsdale Invitational time.
Grace Coakley took a minute off her best time of the season with a time of 23:36.0, placing 19th.
Samantha Hier (23:45.2) placed 22nd overall.

The final scorers for the Pioneer women include
Anna Gregg (23:50.5),
Kinsey Knoch (23:59.9) and
Jocelyn Miller (24:08.4) who placed 25th, 28th and 29th, respectively.

Blair Colter (24:18.2),
Leah Jablonski (24:31.0),
Carolyn Skledar (24:53.7),
Maria Blasiole (26:38.9) and
Abby Oscovitch (27:37.0) completed the race as individuals for Malone.

Hillsdale swept the event by taking the team and individual awards in the men's race as well. Adam Weir finished on top of the podium for the Chargers.
Lucas Huber was the top finisher in seventh with a time of 26:23.0 in the 8K event.

Just outside the top 10 was
Matt Oscovitch. The senior secured an 11th place finish at 26:30.5.
Brady Stevens (26:49.3) and
Tucker Markko (26:53.3) joined Oscovitch in the top 20 with finishes of 17th and 19th. Stevens set a new career-best time in the 8K.

Mason Ackley (28:04.2) and
Michael Collins (29:48.5) were the final two scorers for the Malone men.
