The Malone University women's basketball team, winner of five straight games, will look to extend its winning streak this weekend when it travels to the University of Findlay on Thursday, January 30th and Hillsdale College on Saturday, February 1st for a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) clashes. The Pioneers enter the weekend third in the conference and could cement themselves even further as G-MAC contenders as they enter the final month of the season.

Series History
The Pioneers are just 3-26 all-time against Findlay, including a 69-50 home loss to the Oilers last season. Malone is 3-7 versus Hillsdale, including a 90-82 home win this past Saturday.
Malone Notes
- The Pioneers scored 38 fourth-quarter points – their most in any quarter since NCAA transitioned to quarters five seasons ago – in last week's win over Hillsdale.
- Malone also hit 14 three-pointers – its second most this season - in that victory. The Pioneers ranked are 18th in DII in 3's per game (8.9).
- Nine of those threes came from Holly Groff, who set the school record on the way to scoring a career-high 33 points and winning G-MAC Player of the Week honors. Groff is averaging 23.4 points per game over the current five-game win streak.
- While Groff is fourth in the G-MAC in scoring this season (17.6 ppg), Robin Campbell has steadily climbed to eighth with 15.3 points a night. She also leads Malone in assists this season (59) and has dished out 19 in the past three games.
- Freshman Alexis Hutchison, the team leader with 35 steals, pocketed four more in Saturday's win. She also achieved career-highs in points (16) and assists (5).
- Fourth-year Pioneer Ellen Doyle, the team leader in rebounding (5.0 rpg) added 12 points in the win over Hillsdale. In the process she went over 500 total points in her career
- Steady senior Sydney Wentling (9.4 ppg) has at least one three-pointer in 10 of her last 11 games. She is second on the team in rebounds (4.9 rpg).
- Malone is 7-1 in road games this season and 10-1 in the last 11 road games dating back to last season.
- The Pioneers are 11-2 in their last 13 games overall and 12-0 this season when holding opponents under 75 points.

Findlay Notes
- The Oilers are coming off of back-to-back loss to G-MAC frontrunners Kentucky Wesleyan (69-58) and Walsh (100-58). Prior to those losses, Findlay won four straight.
- Findlay, which is 6-2 at home this year, is led by Sydney Kin (15.1 ppg) and Bridget Landin (9.7 ppg). Landin also leads the G-MAC with 42 steals.
- The Oilers are last in the conference in three-pointers per game (4.9) but make over 16 free throws per game, 12th most in NCAA DII.

- The Chargers, who host Walsh on Thursday before the Malone game on Saturday, will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday. They enter the weekend having lost seven of their last eight.
- Seniors Julia Wacker and Sydney Anderson combined for 34 points in the loss at Malone last week. Sophomore Grace Touchette scored a team-high 22.
- Hillsdale outrebounded Malone 40-27, but loss the turnover battle 18-9. The Chargers are last in the country in turnovers forced per game.
