The Pioneers sit on the fringe of playoff birth in the G-MAC. The team is currently eighth in the standings and would be the last team to make the field if the postseason started today. Malone had three series postponed last week due to weather, so they have not taken the field since April 13 against Davis & Elkins College.

Malone is second in the conference in hitting with a .323 team average, slapping over nine hits per game. In the circle, the team has allowed only 50 walks, the second fewest in the G-MAC.

Bailey Byers broke the single season and career homerun records at Malone in the team's last contests against the Senators. She is third in the conference in batting average at .452 and second in slugging percentage at .904. Her 11 homeruns this season is second in the G-MAC. She has the team-lead in RBIs with 33.

Madison Corrick is tied for the lead in the conference with 14 doubles this season. She is hitting .402 with two homeruns, 29 RBIs and 24 runs.

The Panthers are the only team so far to clinch a birth in the G-MAC Tournament. They sit two games ahead of Trevecca Nazarene University in the standings. Last week, they left Walsh University scoreless in two games, winning games 6-0 and 8-0. They also split a non-conference series against Ashland University.

Ohio Dominican has a team batting average of .299 this season and a team ERA of 3.90. In the G-MAC, their earned run average drops to a stellar 2.49. The Panthers do a good job at hitting gaps, leading the conference in doubles (77 as a team) and triples (12 as a team).

Junior infielder Landry Slider is hitting .375 this season with four homeruns and 35 RBIs.

Taylor Farmer is leading the team with nine homeruns this season, followed by Cameron Barber with six.
