Last Saturday's victory for the Pioneers came off a late rally, led by a Bailey Byers homerun and two runners scoring on fielder's choice plays. This season, Byers is batting .508 with nine homeruns and 24 RBIs.

Serena Tucciarelli singled twice and drove in a run against Kentucky Wesleyan. On the season, the senior shortstop is batting .345 and has driven in six runs. She is tied for the team lead in free bases (4) and defensively, Tucciarelli leads the team in putouts (35).
