Malone Notes
  • 2019 G-MAC Freshman of the Year Robin Campbell is averaging a team-high 16.3 points per game headed into conference play. She is coming off of a career-high 28-point performance in a 69-48 win at Clarion last week.
  • Campbell, who went 10-of-10 at the free throw line in the victory, is one made free throw away from tying and two makes away from breaking the school record for most consecutive free throws (30).
  • In large part to Campbell's success at the line this year, Malone ranks fifth in the country in team free-throw percentage.
  • Redshirt junior guard Holly Groff is second on the team in scoring (13.4 ppg). She scored 33 points in two games against Ursuline during her sophomore season in 2017-18.
  • Senior forward Sydney Wentling is scoring 9.7 ppg and ranks 11th in the G-MAC in rebounds (6.3 rpg).
  • Senior Ellen Doyle (8.9 ppg) scored 19 points in two games against Ursuline last season. She has at least one steal in five straight games.
  • Freshman Alexis Hutchison (7.6 ppg) leads the team in field-goal shooting (50%) and is second on the team with eight steals.
  • Malone enters Thursday's contest ranked third in the G-MAC in three-point shooting, but made just 1-of-11 in the win at Clarion, the lowest in almost five years. The Pioneers did, however, score 50 points in the paint.
  • The Pioneers went 13-9 in the G-MAC last winter, including wins in seven of the last eight regular season matchups.

Ursuline Notes
  • The Arrows were 7-15 in conference play in 2018-19 and missed out on the postseason for first time since 2012.
  • Ursuline is 0-2 at home this season, but snapped a five-game losing streak with a 68-63 win at Mercyhurst last Saturday.
  • The team is led by Rebekah Green (16.9 ppg), Ky Crevison (12.3 ppg) and Julia Cardwell (8.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg)
