The Malone University softball team has a full week of conference games this week, as they will play six games within a four-day span. Due to field conditions at Malone, the Pioneers will play a "home" doubleheader on Wednesday against Davis & Elkins College at Walsh University's field in North Canton.  The team will then head on the road to take on Hillsdale College and the University of Findlay on Friday and Saturday.

• The Pioneers are coming off of a pair of exciting wins over rival Walsh University. Malone's wins last week were their first against Walsh since 2010.

• The Pioneer offense has been phenomenal all season long, as they have only been shut out twice all year and have been held to one run just once. The Pioneers are averaging 4.90 runs per game (4th in the conference) on 8.35 hits (2nd in conference).

• Despite allowing opponents to hit .300 against them, the Malone pitching staff has an ERA of 2.87 which is fourth-best in the G-MAC.

• Madison Corrick and Bailey Byers are each among the conference leaders in batting average. Corrick is hitting .386 (6th) and Byers is hitting .384 (7th). Byers is also second in the conference with a .685 slugging percentage.

• Isabella Roberts' ERA of 1.38 is currently the best in the conference. Roberts is pitching a conference-leading 6.07 innings per outing. Roberts has pitched a complete game in every start except for one this season.

Record: 8-15-1 (3-6-1)

• Davis & Elkins went through a rough stretch this season where they went winless in ten straight games, but have seemed to have gotten back on track as of late. In the past two weeks, the Senators split with Cedarville and swept Alderson Broaddus before getting swept by Hillsdale.

• The Senators have four players batting over .300 on the season, three of which have started all 24 games for the team. Although she has started just 13 games and appeared in 18, Rhetta Persinger leads the team with a .405 batting average. The three others to hit over .300 are Brittany Wade (.338), Katie Manson (.315), and Alyssa Cairns (.313).

• Allie Lapalo leads the Senator pitching staff with a 5-7 record. Lapalo has an ERA of 3.75 and has pitched six complete games this season.

• Hillsdale is third in the conference with a .300 batting average.

• The Hillsdale pitching staff has an ERA of 2.54, second-best in the conference. The Chargers are holding their opponents to a batting average of .259, third in the conference.

• Katie Kish is leading the G-MAC with an impressive .481 batting average. Amanda Marra is batting .377, ninth best in the conference.

• Erin Hunt has an ERA of 1.79, fourth in the conference. She is holding batters to a conference-best .193 batting average. Hunt has struck out 97 batters this season, second most in the conference.

Record: 21-16 (11-1)

• Findlay has gotten off to a great start against conference opponents this season, suffering just one loss. The Oilers have not allowed a G-MAC opponent to score more than three runs in a game yet this season, and only two teams have scored three. At the plate, the Oilers have scored in double-digits in five games. They have scored at least five runs in nine of their twelve G-MAC games.

• Five players who have played at least half of Findlay's games have a batting average over .300. Madison Arnold leads the team with a .351 batting average. Arnold is hitting .615 in conference games.

• Megan Fisher is holding opponents to a .243 batting average. Hailey Bryan has an ERA of 1.98.
