Area Churches, Youth Basketball Teams To Be Recognized At Upcoming Home Games

The Malone University Athletic Department will host a pair of special promotions at its upcoming home basketball doubleheaders against Cedarville University on Wednesday, January 2 and versus Tiffin University on Saturday, January 5.

On January 2, local church congregations will be recognized during the Great Midwest Athletic Conference doubleheader.  Highlights of the evening include $5 admission for attendees of Northeast Ohio churches, free admission for local pastors along with Malone merchandise giveaways and other prizes.  The Pioneer women will take on the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on January 2 while the Malone men will face off with Cedarville at 8:00 p.m. (admission good for both games of the doubleheader).

On January 5, all youth basketball players ages 12 & under will be admitted for free.  In addition, the parents and/or guardians of each boys or girls basketball player will receive a $1 discount off the price of admission.  The women's game against Tiffin will start at 1:00 p.m. on January 5, followed by the men's game at 3:00 p.m.
