The Malone University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to rival Walsh University in its season finale Tuesday night in North Canton. The loss snapped a three-match winning streak for the Pioneers, who ended the season at 5-9-2 overall and 3-9-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

Walsh (12-3-1, 11-2-1 G-MAC) held a slim advantage in shots (10-7), shots on goal (6-5), and corner kicks (5-3). A pair of first-half goals by the Cavaliers, in the 14th and 36th minutes, proved to be the difference.

Dani Giles led Malone with three shots, including one on goal.
Natalie Martorana put a pair of shots on net, but was turned away twice by goalkeeper Mickey McClanahan, who earned her G-MAC leading 8th shutout of the season.
