The Malone University men's soccer team will continue Great Midwest Athletic Conference action this week with two league matches.  The Pioneers must win both to keep their playoff hopes alive and Lake Erie College is their first order of business on Thursday evening which will also be the team's Senior Athlete Recognition Night.  On Saturday, Malone travels across town to rival Walsh University to wrap up regular-season conference play.

-The Pioneers fell 2-0 to NCAA DII #6 Ohio Valley University this past Thursday
-Malone will look to extend its season-long streak of holding its opponents to three or less goals per match and play off the strength of their defense
-The Pioneers conference record in the G-MAC is 4-7-1
-Malone had won its previous meetings against both the Storm and the Cavaliers in earlier matches this season and will look to sweep them both

All-Time Series:  The Pioneers look to close the 5-7-2 all-time record against the Storm
-Lake Erie currently has an overall record of 7-4-3 and a 5-4-2 G-MAC conference record this season
-The Storm posted an 5-12-0 overall record in 2017
-Lake Erie brings a two-game winning streak and currently would make the playoffs if the season were to end today

Walsh University Notes (7-7-1) - Roster | Stats
All-Time Series:  The Pioneers look to notch into the 18-43-2 all-time record against the Cavaliers
-Walsh currently has an overall record of 7-7-1 and a 4-7-1 G-MAC conference record this season
-The Cavaliers posted an 6-10-2 overall record in 2017
-Walsh is coming off a 2-0 loss to Ohio Valley and, like Malone, is looking to stay alive in the playoff hunt
