The Pioneers are coming off of a week where they went 1-1. The Pioneers started last week with a thrilling win in double-overtime over Kentucky Wesleyan. Sam Condon scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime period. The Pioneers' second game last week ended in a hard-fought 4-3 loss to Travecca Nazarene. Condon had two goals in the game.

Nick Wilhelm is currently second in the conference with 32 saves. He is saving 5.33 shot attempts per contest, which is also second in the conference.

Look for the Pioneer men to continue the building off the momentum that they started last week.

Salem International has had a red-hot start to their 2017 campaign. Their five wins on the season have already eclipsed their total wins from a season ago. Salem's loss last week to Marian University snapped a five-game winning streak. The Tigers are 0-1-1 against G-MAC teams this season, losing to Davis & Elkins and tying Walsh.
Salem is outscoring their opponents 26-9 on the season. Goalkeeper Dom Gillespie has two shutout victories so far this season. He has twenty saves and has allowed eight goals.

Federico Toschi has scored seven goals so far on the season, averaging just over one goal per game. Mark Bako of Salem International currently leads the nation with six assists. Salem International is ranked as the third best scoring offense, averaging 3.71 goals per contest.
