The Malone University softball team has a full week of games ahead. The team will head to West Liberty on Tuesday before returning to campus for their home opener against Mercyhurst. Friday and Saturday the Pioneers will be back on the road to start conference play against Cedarville.

Malone is 3-2 all-time against West Liberty. The two teams split a double-header in their last meeting in 2015. The Pioneers won the first game 7-2, while the Hilltoppers took the second game 4-3. The Pioneers are 0-1 all-time against Mercyhurst. Malone and Mercyhurst faced off last season on March 11^th. Mercyhurst won the contest 10-1 in five innings. Malone is 16-25 against Cedarville. Malone and Cedarville have not met since 2012, where Cedarville won three out of four contests.
