Team Notes
Malone Pioneers: Roster | Schedule | Stats
The Pioneers (1-1) are coming off a 1-0 overtime loss to Walsh last Saturday night. In the season opener against Slippery Rock, Malone posted its first shutout since 2014 and its first 1-0 shutout since 2012. Malone is led by head coach Brian Stock who is his fifth season at the helm of the program.

Through two games this season, sophomore goalkeeper Cody Hilty has been unscored upon in 180 minutes of regulation. The defensive unit of Christian Kallenberger, Brock Venman, Jonathan Dendinger, and Caleb Griffith, along with midfielders Robert Nemes, Cole Hoop, and Nick Fry, has allowed just nine shots on goal.

Offensively, Gino Finelli leads the team with nine shots and has scored the Pioneers' only goal. Kallenberger provided Malone's lone assist. Senior forward Nick Astalos, who led the squad with six goals a season ago, has just one shot attempt on the year.

Series:
Thursday night's game with Alderson Broaddus under the lights will mark the sixth all-time meeting between the two schools. Alderson Broaddus is unbeaten (4-0-1) in five previous matches. Saturday's match against Davis & Elkins will be the first all-time meeting between the two schools.

Alderson Broaddus Battlers: Roster | Schedule | Stats
The Battlers (0-1-1) are coming off of a 1-1 tie with NCAA DII #15 Fort Hays State (KS) following a 2-4 loss to NCAA DII #3 Rockhurst (MO) in the season opener. Alderson Broaddus was the G-MAC runner-up a season ago, losing to Cedarville in the Conference Championship on penalty kicks. Head coach Scott Phipps was named the G-MAC Coach of the year last fall.

The Battlers are led by senior defender Alec Andall, one of nearly 20 international players on the AB roster. In 2015, Andall was named G-MAC Defensive Player of the Year. The offense is led by midfielder Fernando Franco, who led the squad with four assists last season. Through two games, Franco has a goal and an assist while midfielder Luis Velasco has also recorded a goal and an assist. Goalkeeper Felix Son Vu has 11 saves through two games

The Senators are led by 2015 First Team All-G-MAC defender Lukas Grosse-Puppendahl and Niklas Rash-Hegelund, an All-G-MAC Freshman Team member last fall. Junior forward Ayo Adeyina has recorded a goal and the squads' only assist while midfielder Kasper Kvello tallied the Senators' only goal in the season opener. Goalkeeper Hedi Mehnaoui has eight saves on the young season.
