The Malone University volleyball team will return to the court this weekend at the Urbana University Invitational with four non-conference contests.

Team Notes
Malone Pioneers (2-6): Roster | Schedule | Statistics
The Pioneers are on a five-game losing skid but have recent history on their side as they try right the ship. In the previous two seasons, Malone has had three separate five-game losing streaks all end with a victory in the sixth match.
 
Seniors Haley Kool and Lynsey Trusty have a chance to reach a pair of career milestones in this weekend's contests. Kool needs 10 blocks to reach 200 for her career. In addition, she is just two block assists away from cracking the Malone career top-10 list. Erica Gann (2007-09) is currently10th with 162 block assists. Senior libero Lynsey Trusty, who comes into the weekend averaging a team-high 4.36 digs per set is 18 digs away from 500 in her career.
 
Setter Cathryn Miller enters the tournament with 1246 career assists. She is 96 shy of 7th place on the Pioneers' career assists list. Katie Wright (2004-05) currently holds the distinction with 1342 career helpers. Miller sits third in the G-MAC with 8.76 assists per set.
 
Shepherd Rams (4-5): Roster | Schedule | Stats
Shepherd, a member of the Mountain East Conference (MEC), is led by 2015 All-MEC Second Teamer Sophie Foster (1.85 kills/set, 0.91 blocks per set) and freshman Peyton Lindblad (2.91 kills per set).
 
Kutztown Golden Bears (2-5): Roster | Schedule | Stats
Kutztown is a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The Golden Bears are led by sophomore outside hitter Brittney Moyer and her 3.88 kills per set. Moyer enters the week third in the nation in service aces.
 
Armstrong State Pirates (6-1): Roster | Schedule | Stats
Armstrong State competes in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC). The Pirates enter the weekend ranked 6th in NCAA DII in team hitting percentage (.280). Sophomore hitters Raegan Grooms (3.70 k/s, .310 attack pct.) and Raquel Kulak (3.00 k/s, .338 pct.) lead a potent attack.
 
Urbana Blue Knights (3-6): Roster | Schedule | Stats
Urbana also competes in the Mountain East Conference. The Blue Knights are led by 2015 All-MEC First Team selection Katlynn Dunlap (3.13 k/s) and her sister Maia Dunlap (3.78 digs/s).
