Game Preview: Malone

-Malone is coming off a 3-1 defeat in game one and a heartbreaking eight inning loss in game two by the final score of 4-3 at Lake Erie College on Wednesday. In game one, pitcher Kari Hall went the distance and tossed her 14^th complete game, while striking out four. In game two, Abbie Hughes went 3-for-4 at the plate and collected two RBI's, while Shelby Hulin went 2-for-4 at the plate and notched one run scored and one RBI.   

-Pitcher Kari Hall has tallied two shutouts and has registered 88 total strikeouts.

-Alexa Holztrager leads MU in batting average (.371), slugging percentage (.449), and doubles (5). Holztrager has gathered 101 runs scored in her career at Malone and now only needs seven more runs scored to become the all-time leader in that category.

- Emily Isla leads the Pioneers in RBI's, notching 15.

-Two Pioneer players are averaging a .300 plus batting average.

-The Cavaliers are coming off a 5-2 and 10-0 loss at Ashland University on Wednesday.

-Marissa Bondoni leads the team in batting average (.302) and RBI's (15).

-Pitcher Olivia Pitfer has tossed 126 strikeouts in 135 innings pitched. In addition, she has compiled a 9-10 record from the circle and has a 2.70 ERA.
