nd annual Mayors' Cup on Thursday, February 25
th at 8:00 p.m. in Osborne Hall.

All-Time Series:The Pioneers are 40-72 against the Cavilers, losing the last eight in a row. Malone's last win over Walsh was in 2011. In the Mayors' Cup series, Walsh leads with 32 wins, while Malone has 19.
Notes from last meeting between Malone and Walsh:Earlier this month, Malone lost at Walsh 99-97. During that game, there were seven ties and 16 lead changes. Cavs guard Zac Carter and forward Trey Fletcher combined for 67 of the 99 points. Malone shot 54.4% from the field over the course of the game and outscored the Cavaliers 38-26 in the paint and 36-0 in bench points.
Jay Parker scored a career-high 26 points, while
Stephen O'Daniel III chipped in 23 points and
Mitchell Spotleson added 20 points for MU.
Malone Notes:-The Pioneers beat Wayne State University at home last Thursday, 73-63
. Four Pioneers scored in double digits with Brian Stone leading the pack with 21 points, followed by O'Daniel III with 17 points. Jay Parker and Christian Graves each tallied 11 points. On Saturday, Malone lost a heartbreaking 70-69 game at Findlay. The narrow defeat marked the ninth game this season the Pioneers have lost by three points or less. Stone and Christian Graves led MU with 18 points each.-Stone is ranked first in NCAA Division II in field goal percentage (70.9). He leads the team in points per game, averaging 14.9. He has gone five straight games scoring in double digits.
-Spotleson is ranked eighth in the GLIAC in rebounds per game (7.2). He has grabbed 186 total rebounds on the season (39 offensively and 147 defensively), which is also a team high. He has tallied a total of seven double-doubles on the season, which is the most on the team this year.
-O'Daniel III has gone seven straight games scoring in double digits.
-Parker is ranked fifth in the GLIAC in assists per game, dishing out 4.4. He tallied a career-high nine assists in Saturday's game.
-As a team, the Pioneers are ranked third in the GLIAC in three-point percentage (37.2%), fifth in field goal percentage (46.4%), and seventh in assists per game (14.2).
Walsh Notes:-Jeff Young has been at the helm of the Walsh program for 11 years.
-Last week, the Cavilers clinched their third straight GLIAC Tournament berth. Last season, Walsh fell to Ferris State University (MI) 81-65 in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinal.
-Guard Jesse Hardin Jr is ranked fourth in the GLIAC in points per game (20.0) and has scored 500 points this season. Earlier this season, he scored a season-high 45 points against Ferris State.
-Chall Montgomery is first on the team in total rebounds (198) and ranked sixth in the GLIAC in rebounds per game (8.2). On two different occasions this season, he has grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds.
-As a team, the Cavs are ranked fourth in the GLIAC in rebounds per game (38.4) and free throw percentage (76.0%), and fifth in points per game (77.4).
-Among NCAA DII teams, Walsh is ranked fourth in fewest turnovers and ranked seventh in fewest turnovers per game.
-They have a 5-6 record on the road.
