The Malone University volleyball team heads on the road again this weekend for two Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matches. The Pioneers are vying for their first-ever G-MAC win after going winless in their first three conference matches. All three of those matches have gone to five sets.

- As Malone pursues its first-ever G-MAC victory, three Pioneers will have a chance to reach career milestones in this weekend's matches
- Senior middle hitter Haley Kool is eight kills shy of 500 for her career. Kool is currently averaging 1.71 kills per set a team-high 0.84 blocks per set
- Sophomore outside hitter Mallory Adams is also approaching 500 kills, needing 35 to reach the mark. Adams leads the team with 2.79 kills per set. She set a career-high with 15 digs on Tuesday against Ursuline to record her first career double-double.
- Sophomore defensive specialist Maggie Hamrock will likely surpass 500 career digs this weekend as she currently stands at 494 for her career. She has settled nicely into the backrow rotation and is second on the squad with 1.79 digs per set
- Malone's leader in digs per set, senior libero Lynsey Trusty, has been exceptional as of late, averaging 5.71 digs per set over the last four matches. Over the course of the season, that figure would rank 15th in NCAA DII.
- The Pioneers defeated Cedarville in four sets in the their lone match last season
- Malone has lost its last nine matches and 15 of 16 matches overall
