Record: 8-8-2 (6-7-1)

The Pioneers had to perform in the clutch in order to get into the tournament in the sixth and final slot. They did so by going 2-0-1 in the final week of the regular season. In that three-game span the team defeated the #4 seed Davis & Elkins, they tied Alderson Broaddus who they had to beat out for the final spot, and then they beat #2 seeded Ursuline in the final game of the season to secure their playoff spot.

In those final three games Darby Burch lead the team with two goals and one assist. Brianna Smith and Kirsten Hilty each had two goals during the stretch as well. Christine Najjar had a goal as well as two assists in the final week as well.  These offensive forces, who can all be found among the conference leaderboards, will need to continue their success against Cedarville, who defeated the Pioneers 1-0 and 2-0 in their previous meetings this season.
