The Malone University women's soccer team lost on the road Saturday afternoon 2-1 to Ursuline College.
 
Saturday's game was an offensive battle in the first half. Freshman Molli Dunn gave the Pioneers a 1-0 lead about halfway through the first half with her first career goal . Kirsten Hilty had the assist on Dunn's goal.
 
Later in the first half, Ursuline scored two goals within one minute to pull ahead. Steph Chlad and Cassie Cripe had the two goals for Ursuline.
 
The second half saw no goals from either team, ending the game in a 2-1 victory for Ursuline.  

Malone will return to action on Monday with a 4:00 p.m. non-conference match at home against Salem International University.
