Women's Basketball Preview Notes: Pioneers Ready to Open Conference Play

Rachel Goddard is number one in the GLIAC with a 17:2 assist to turnover ratio

The Malone University women's basketball team will begin Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) play this week when they travel to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to meet Michigan Tech on Thursday and Northern Michigan on Saturday

Head Coach Kim Cameron was the 2014-15 GLIAC coach of the year. She has complied 119 wins and a .793 winning percentage in five years at the helm.
Senior forward Danielle Blake, a 2014-15 All-GLIAC First Team and GLIAC All-Defensive Team selection, leads the team in points (56), rebounds (42), assists (20), steals (9), and blocks (7)...She is 4th in the conference in rebounds, 2nd in assists, and 2nd in blocks.
Center Kylie Moxley is averaging 13.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest
Junior guard Kelli Guy (12.3 ppg) is shooting 50% (13-26) from beyond the arc...she is 2nd in the conference in three-point makes
