-Ohio Christian is in its first year of membership in the NAIA's Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

-OCU knocked off #7 Union College 75-74 in its season opener on November 3rd; Less than a week later the Trailblazers defeated #21 Robert Morris University in three overtimes by a final tally of 84-82
-Robert Morris evened the season series 1-1 after handing OCU its only loss of the year 87-82 on November 18th
