The Pioneer women's basketball team will travel to West Virginia on Tuesday, November 17th for a 5:30 pm match-up against the University of Charleston. This will be the second meeting between the two schools, as Charleston defeated Malone 50-47 in Osborne Hall last season.Â

-Charleston lost 65-55 in the Mountain East Conference Quarterfinals last season to Notre Dame College
-Senior Nichole Perry led the Golden Eagles in points per game (13.7), points (396), steals (31), assists (82) and assists per game (2.8) last season. In addition, she was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Team, the All-Mountain East Conference First-Team and the Mountain East Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year
-The Golden Eagles opened the year with a 82-66 loss to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania but then bounced back with a 78-65 triumph over Clarion University
-Through two games, Charleston is shooting 43.5% from the field, but just 25.6% from beyond the three-point arc
