The Malone University women's soccer team lost 1-0 at home in double-overtime against Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent Northwood University (MI) on Sunday night.

Both teams battled back and forth, with Malone having numerous opportunities to put a shot into the net, but they couldn't convert in the first 90 minutes of action or in the first 10 minutes of the first overtime.

It wouldn't be until the 104:05 marker in double-overtime when Northwood's Jessica Flores scored off a rebound to take the 1-0 victory.

Malone's goalkeeper Leah Rauscher collected five saves on the day. She now has 85 total saves.

The Pioneers will travel to Saginaw Valley State University (MI) on Friday, October 16^th for a 1:00 p.m. match-up.
