After playing seven matches away from its home court over the first two weeks of the season, the Malone University volleyball team picked up a four-set triumph over visiting Cedarville University in its return to Osborne Hall Tuesday evening. Malone improved to 5-3 overall with the 28-26, 25-20, 25-27, 25-17 non-conference victory while the Yellow Jackets fell to 2-8.

Katie Hasebein had a huge night on the Pioneers' backline, piling up a career-high 26 digs. Outside hitters

Sarah Brent all posted 12 kills to pace a balanced Malone attack. In addition to their double-digit kill totals, Hays also registered two service aces and 10 digs while Slauterbeck notched 12 digs. Middle hitter
Lauren Townley followed with 10 kills and four blocks (two solo) while middle hitter
Elizabeth Maczuzak ended the evening with eight kills and four blocks (one solo). Setter
Kimberly McCracken also made solid contributiions with 46 assists and 18 digs.
Malone will open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play over the weekend with a 7:00 p.m. home match vs. Ohio Dominican University (5-3 overall) on Friday and a 4:00 p.m. home contest vs. Tiffin University (4-0 overall) on Saturday. Live video will be provided during Friday's match at
