The Malone University volleyball team notched a three-set home victory over Tiffin University on Friday night at Osborne Hall. The Pioneers grabbed the early lead in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match with a 25-19 triumph in set one. Malone (18-9 overall, 11-6 GLIAC) then edged the Dragons 27-25 in the second frame before putting the contest away with a convincing 25-10 victory in set three.
The Pioneers have now won 11 of their last 13 matches overall, including eight of their last nine GLIAC contests.
Middle hitter
Hannah Haver paced the Malone attack, posting a season-high hitting percentage of .733 after ripping 12 kills in just 15 attempts. Middle hitter
Lauren Townley added nine kills, two aces and six blocks (four solo). Outside hitter
Anna Hays posted six kills while outside hitter
Taylor Slauterbeck registered four kills, two service aces and a team-high 10 digs.

Brianna Clegg shared setting duties in the absence of senior
Jackie Schwamberger, who missed the contest due to injury. McCracken totaled 14 assists and five digs while Clegg contributed 13 assists and four digs.
Tiffin (9-19 overall, 2-15 GLIAC) was led by outside hitter Danielle McQuade's eight kills and libero Jordan Jenkins' 11 digs.
Malone will wrap up its regular-season schedule on Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. home contest against Ohio Dominican University (12-16 overall, 6-11 GLIAC). Live video and statistics will be provided during the match.
