Rogers then assisted forward Lauren Bowyer on two quick goals in the early stages of the second period. Bowyer's first score came off a pass in front of the net two minutes into the second half. The final goal of the match then followed in the 50th minute as Bowyer collected a sideline pass from Rogers and fired a shot into the upper left corner of the net.
Rogers played a part in all four of the Dragons' scores, ending the day with one goal and three assists.
Malone held an 8-6 advantage in total shots on goal but was unable to get on the scoreboard.
