The Malone University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision on the road to NCAA Division II Tiffin University Friday afternoon.  Following a scoreless first half, the Dragons netted the lone goal of the match in the 55th minute of play.  The Pioneers' overall record fell to 5-5 overall with the narrow defeat while Tiffin improved to 5-2-1.

Dragon forward Ashton Campbell pocketed the game winner less than ten minutes into the second period off passes from Michael O'Neil and Edison Benda.

Malone held a 6-3 edge in total shots on goal over the course of the afternoon but was unable to find the back of the net.
Pioneer goalkeeper Felipe Monteiro posted two saves while Tiffin netminder Jeremy Ashley stopped five shots in the shutout win.

Malone will be back in action on Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. contest at Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University (4-4-1 overall).
