The Malone University volleyball had its six-match winning streak snapped on Tuesday night at Osborne Hall as the squad suffered a three-set loss to Cedarville University by scores of 25-22, 26-24 and 25-21. The Pioneers, now 9-6 overall, had opened the season with 14 matches away from their home court prior to Tuesday's contest. The Yellow Jackets pushed their win streak to six matches, improving to 9-6 on the season.
Outside hitter
Megan Fisher led the way for the Pioneers with 14 kills. Middle hitter
Hannah Haver followed with seven kills while fellow middle hitter
Lauren Townley also posted seven kills with three blocks (one solo). Setter
Jackie Schwamberger dished out 29 assists and scooped up 15 digs. Outside hitter
Taylor Slauterbeck also made solid contributions with three kills, a service ace and 13 digs.
Malone will be back in action on Friday with a 7:00 p.m. contest at NCAA Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania (7-6 overall).
